BITTERLY FROZEN doesn't even begin to describe how cold we were today. All 7 of us agreed we have never been so uncomfortable!! Despite the elements.....we have laughed and laughed and made so many special memories. The roaring gale force winds about lifted us off our feet several times....the snow whipping our faces was "delightful"...frozen and aching fingers and toes were a common feeling among us...but ingrained in our memory is what we saw walking through Tia'amenn Square and climbing up a portion of the Great Wall. So much history in the steps we walked. We have met one of the two families we are traveling with...a delightful couple adopting their first child. As we go to sleep tonight we are all wondering about the special moment we become family with Mia tomorrow. We leave for Guizhou at 8:20 am are supposed to meet her around 4pm Sunday our time....early, early, early morning for you all. We are nervous but yet so calm at the same time because we know God has ordained every single step of our journey. Goodnight from Beijing, Randy, Paula, Ahnna, Abigail, Addie, Mom and Dad
