How is it possible to experience so many emotions ALL at the same time? Excitement, apprehension, joy, fear, anticipation, peace, giddiness, anxiousness, did I say excitement!!? We are reveling in all of these as we count the remaining hours til we are all buckled in our seats and on our way to meet our brave little girl. Our brave little one has already walked such a hard journey. We are humbled God invited us to join Him in the mysteries of adoption...her journey. Humbled He chose us to become family with our little Addie Ruth and once again humbled God has chosen to make us family with Amelia Kate Jacoby...our little Mia.We are now just days away from looking into the eyes of this special little girl. From the moment we began these steps toward Mia we have prayed for peace...peace for her as she leaves ALL she has ever known....peace for her caregiver as she lets go of this little gift...and peace for us all as we join together as family. These days are rich...they are huge...they are filled with the blessings of almighty God. As we sleep tonight we wonder about the thoughts of Mia....we are coming little one. Your family is coming.
